ITB Berlin has been the leading platform in the tourism industry since 1966, making it the trade fair for the global travel and tourism industry. It brings together the most important key players in the international travel industry in one place.

Despite its size, with more than 190 countries and regions represented, ITB Berlin is clearly structured: In addition to a geographical breakdown by destination, the halls are also divided into marketsegments such as Adventure & Responsible Tourism, Business Travel, Careers in Tourism, LGBTQ+ Travel, Luxury Tourism, Medical & Health Tourism, MICE Travel, Travel Technology, Culture Travel, Tours & Activities (TTA) and Youth Travel.

The internationally renowned ITB Berlin Convention will take place parallel to the trade fair on the exhibition grounds. As the leading think tank for the travel industry, it is the world's largest tourism congress with 400 top speakers and panel guests from business and politics and more than 200 sessions over three days. Seminars, keynotes, symposia, workshops, deep dives, award ceremonies and press conferences will cover the latest topics in the tourism industry. Participation in the ITB Berlin Convention is included in the trade fair ticket.
