For media partners and exhibitors
The CULTURE LOUNGE, the ITB's official culture platform, has never been as international as it is this year. Some 70 exhibitors from eleven countries will be presenting their cultural highlights and offers at the world's largest travel trade fair between 8 and 12 March 2017. Among them will be museums from all over Europe, festivals, major European cooperative projects and cultural service providers. The CULTURE LOUNGE was set up by the projekt2508 group in 2008. Since then, the venue has become an established port of call for tour operators, journalists, end consumers and important influencers within the cultural travel segment. Since last year, culture at the ITB has been showcased in its own dedicated hall (Hall 16). This year's culture partners for the CULTURE LOUNGE is VISITFLANDERS with its project "Flemish Masters" and its cultural cities and partners Antwerp, Brugges, Leuven, Mechelen and MuZee. Indonesia, Flanders and Norway are our this years culinary parnters. The European Route of Historic Theatres, the EU's largest cultural cooperative project, and the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities will also be exhibiting at the fair. These will be joined in the CULTURE LOUNGE by first-class exhibition halls and museum federations such as the museums of Munich, the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, and the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn, as well as the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Lorsch Monastery and Völklinger Hütte.
The CULTURE LOUNGE offers media representatives concise information about the following years’ important cultural events. You will receive press information on the CULTURE LOUNGE exhibitors in the culture press centre.
